I stayed here for 1 night with my family. The reason I chose the hotel was for the secure parking lot. Betty at the front desk was very friendly and informative. The rooms were clean. Shower had hot water. We slept peacefully with no disturbances. And the hotel has such fun decor all old Hollywood themed. The huge Christmas tree they had in the lobby felt very festive as we were traveling. Thanks Betty!

We had the pleasure of staying here to celebrate my 40th Birthday and the experience was amazing. The hotel is beautiful, well located, but the staff really make it sing - Betty and Mike took such good care of us, and gave us the scoop of where to go off the beaten path of the tourist traps. This hotel was a well worth the money and will be our Go To in Hollywood.

Old hotel with the right atmosphere. Room and hotel were nice and clean. Hotel has not many features, no breakfast, WiFi was not always stable, shower was not always warm. Parking for a fee was good, just around the back. Location was ok, paramount pictures nearby. The rest requires driving or quite some walking. Not even a metro station nearby. Had a room with view of the Hollywood sign which was a nice touch.

Friendly Staff. Beatrice was great and helpful. Check in was fast and loved the building. The outside and inside of the building was elegant. Very clean and organized. Even though the Bar was closed for the Holidays she let us inside to see it and let me tell you it was amazing. Over all it was great.

It’s a nice 3 star hotel. There’s a lift in hotel and a cafe/bar. I stayed here because it’s near universal studio and Hollywood walk of fame. Uber to universal studio is about $12. Our room size is average but we got a good size wardrobe/storage room for our luggages. There’s a very nice Italian restaurant nearby and a mini mart. Also there’s a public bus stop which I took to downtown LA

I can really not recommend this Hotel… It is not historical, it is just a really old and in a bad condition. The Rooms are old and dirty and the carpet in there smells very bad. The hotel is also on a very loud street and because of the old Windows, you hear everything very loud in your Room and it is cold - like you were staying outside. We tell our ciritic to the Hotel Manager/Owner, but she was not amused about it and dont try to accept it anyway.

Normally I live pretty long reviews but with this hotel I don't really think words can describe how fantastic this hotel was. The service from the lady at the front desk was wonderful the hotel felt elegant and was a reasonable price and the room was big and had a very comfortable bed. I would definitely stop here again on my next trip through town.

Had very comfortable stay in this centrally located hotel on our universal studio visit. I forgot my Waterpik and hotel staff were kind enough to find and ship it for me without any delay. Appreciate it! I recommend this place and can say that they will deliver.
